Home made lens align tool

Ready to be put to the test after building today....Results: for the Canon 6d And some of the older lenses micro focus adjustments were needed. This turned out to be a useful exercise. The 300 f2.8 back focused, the 150 macro front focused, the 135 focus was also off. The 14 to 35 was dead on and the 24 to 105 stm was pretty darn close, only at bit off at 105mm. Both the Sigma and Canon 50's were slightly off. All good now. What was interesting is the 6d
allows seperate adjustments for wide and tele
on zoom lenses. Very cool.

Printer ready to go

The Z3100 printer needed a new black and red printerhead. It came today and 'shes alive captain.' The black backdrop paper is on its way. Now to make some room in the basement for a studio setup.

Lensbaby on M4/3

A couple of years ago I modified a lensbaby Muse to fit micro 4/3. Today I revisited this and used a leica to m4/3 adapter instead. Much better as the lens is substantially closer to the sensor. See image.

I got a wide angle pinhole adapter for M4/3. Images to come for all of these creative lenses....

Sold some more Canon stuff, some flashes and a GH2.
Got one used Metz 58 AF-2 flash for Olympus/Panasonic and one new one for a total of two.
These look to be of excellent build. Lets find out...

A new toy. 25mm Panasonic F1.4 m4\3

Picked up an used Panasonic\leica 25mm for the M 4\3 today.  Its going to be fun with this lense in Cuba.  Most of the Canon 'S'  equipment is being sold off as it seems that I don't use it anymore which is funding more Olympus M 4\3 equipment. Full frame Canon is staying in the kit.
